Missing pieces, pairs of earthenware tiles decorated in cobalt blue on white that face outwards. Simultaneously lunettes and megaphones, they spy and shout, amplify and deflate. They are the four eyes and four open mouths of the tower. The floral motif that covers them carries a softness that contrasts with the strangeness of the devices. Between poetic deliriums, a warning of land in sight and a call without answer.
Objects for exhausted voices, faltering speeches, refrains without refrain, collapsing refrains. The possibility of a wind orchestra summoning the listening to what has not yet arrived, to what may never be said, is organized around these ceramic bodies. There is a silence full of effort waiting for voices to come, betting on hesitant messages, cosmic or seismic alerts. Murmurs that lead to no action, that hold no meaning, but persist, are pronounced, can do nothing more than speak. Like The Exhausted, which no longer expresses possibilities, but exhausts them, leaving only babbling: speeches that fail.

"The word "germinating" is a cosmological, living, organic word. For example, when we say "confluence," we are speaking with a germinating word.
